Manchester United ace set for shock return against Southampton

ADNAN JANUZAJ could earn his first Manchester United appearance since August against Southampton tomorrow, Louis van Gaal has confirmed.

Januzaj, 20, returned to United just six months into his loan spell at Borussia Dortmund.

The midfielder had made just 12 appearances for the Bundesliga side and was sent back to Old Trafford this month.

 

He has been training with the first team squad and manager Van Gaal says the Belgium international is in line to face Saints in tomorrow's 3pm kick off.

“I think that he is available," Van Gaal said.

"He made his work in the training sessions and he has played one match, which is not much of course.

"He needs to play more matches, but he is available."

 

Januzaj scored the winner in United's second game of the season, at Aston Villa, back in August.

Bby the end of the month he was at Dortmund as Van Gaal decided to offload both he and Javier Hernandez before the summer transfer window closed.

But he started just three games for the Bundesliga club before heading back to Old Trafford.
