Manchester United made a £37.6m bid for Felipe Anderson in the off season |
Lazio have confirmed Manchester United's £37.6million bid for Felipe Anderson in the summer, but have dismissed speculation of a fresh January bid.
"We turned down a €50m (£37.6m) offer from Manchester United on August 27 and nothing has changed since then," sporting director Igli Tare told Mediaset Premium.
"Because if he finds consistency, then he's worth much more. So far we haven't received anything from Manchester United (this month)."
Meanwhile, United have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of Chelsea forward Eden Hazard as local rivals Manchester City plan a summer move.
According to The Sun on Sunday, Hazard's Belgium team-mates Kevin De Bruyne and Vincent Kompany will look to lure the 25-year-old to the Etihad over Old Trafford.
The former Lille man has also been linked with European giants Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid and is likely to cost at least £80m.
