CHELSEA, Manchester United, Manchester City have entered the race to sign Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski.
That is according to the Independent on Sunday, who claim the Premier League trio are set to battle it out for Lewandowski in the summer.
It is thought the Poland international wants to leave the Bundesliga champions at the end of the season in a bid to find a new challenge.
Lewandowski has been in Germany since 2010, having spent four years at Borussia Dortmund before joining Bayern on a free in the summer of 2014.
The 27-year-old, who has 23 goals in 26 outings this season, has four Bundesliga titles to his name as well as a German Supercup and German DFB Cup.
Should he opt to leave the Allianz Arena in the summer, English clubs would face competition from La Liga heavyweights Real Madrid and Barcelona.
And as Lewandowski is contracted at Bayern until 2019, any potential transfer is likely to set suitors back at least £70million.
