LIVERPOOL have made a bid to sign Celta Vigo striker Nolito, according to reports.
Nolito has been in superb form so far this season, scoring eight goals for Celta in La Liga.
Arsenal and Barcelona have both been linked with a move for the 29-year-old, whose current deal contains a release clause making him available for just £13m.
And Barca had looked set to complete a move to bring the Spanish international back to the Nou Camp, where he spent three years from 2008 to 2011.
But a deal collapsed as the Catalan giants proposal to loan the striker until the end of the season with an option to buy after that was rejected by Celta.
The Spanish club are however still keen to wrap up a deal for the striker in this transfer window.
And now talkSPORT claim Liverpool have made a late move to sign the striker and have met his asking price.
Jurgen Klopp is looking to add to his forward line this month and is also hopeful of bringing Shakhtar Donetsk star Alex Teixeira to Anfield.
