JESSE LINGARD has revealed all on his bizarre goal celebration at Newcastle earlier this month.

Manchester United star explains bizarre goal celebration
Jesse Lingard pulls out the dab against Newcastle

The 23-year-old scored United's second in the 3-3 draw at St James' Park and celebrated by introducing the 'dab' dance to the Premier League.
The dab is an import from USA and became popular though basketball legend LeBron James and Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton.

And Lingard admits he knew he had to do it once he saw former Old Trafford team-mate Paul Pogba pull it out for Juventus.
The winger has hinted that he could perform the dab again if he scores during Friday’s FA Cup fourth-round tie at Championship outfit Derby.

"It’s just trending at the moment," Lingard explained. "A lot of people are doing it. I’ve seen Pogba do it and knew I had to do it.
"At the time, I didn’t think about it but as soon as I scored I thought I might as well do it – it’s just a dance. We’ll have to see if I score on Friday – maybe it will come out again!"
