GTA 5 will see a fresh round of DLC content arrive on Xbox One, PS4 and PC, according to new reports.

GTA 5 update: Rockstar’s new DLC plans revealed for Xbox One, PS4 and PC?
GTA 5 still has plenty of new online content planned for release by Rockstar

It’s claimed evidence gathered via data mining may have discovered what Rockstar have planned.
Alleged new information shared online points to a DLC management system that has been found but will be separate from the DLC launched for GTA Online.
Instead, it will look to expand the GTA 5’s story mode with a series of new content drops.
The new management system reportedly allows for different sets of DLC to be turned on or off, while dataminers have revealed that an error screen citing: “Installed Story Mode DLC cannot be loaded,” has also been unearthed.

However, these latest rumours pertaining to a GTA 5 story mode expansion fly in the face of Rockstar’s official line - that GTA Online is the development team’s main focus.
Director of Design at Rockstar North Imran Sarwar revealed back in September 2015 that all key members were focused on supporting the popular multiplayer mode, with a wealth of ideas already created for it.
“The evolution of GTA Online on these newer platforms is also an exciting prospect as the power of those systems is going to allow us to achieve even more,” Sarwar told IGN.

GTA 5 fans have been eager to find out more about a possible story mode expansion

“GTA Online’s success means we are going to be able to work on a lot more in the future too as we’ve learned a ton and have come up with even more ideas for future games."
The new content for GTA Online has come thick and fast over the past months, while only unsubstantiated reports supporting the existance of GTA 5 story DLC.
Voice actor Shawn Fonteno revealed in 2015 that he was working with Rockstar on a project attached to GTA 5 but it remains to be seen if new adventures involving Franklin, Michael and Trevor will ever be released.
A recent GTA 5 update launched late in 2015 added expanded the existing freemode events, allowing fans to take on new missions as a VIP with a hired crew, while another timed for the holidays activated Los Santos' snowfall event.
