ARSENE WENGER has suggested he will look at more Arsenal signings in January, following their win over Newcastle.
The Gunners seemed to have made one transfer already, with reports claiming Basel midfielder Mohamed Elneny has passed a medical at the club.
The 23-year-old Egypt international is valued at £7.3million and will reportedly link up with the squad following the approval of a work permit.
And given the number of injuries Wenger has had to endure this season, he is not ruling out anymore arrivals in January.
Jack Wilshere, Santi Cazorla, Tomas Rosicky and Danny Welbeck have all been on the medical table this term and the boss has admitted he will ‘look’ in the transfer window.
When asked if any new players would be arriving imminently, he replied: “Imminent? No, but we will look.”
Arsenal have moved two points clear at the top of the table following the 1-0 win over Newcastle, courtesy of a Laurent Koscielny header.
