NEWS NEWS BLOG SPORT brings you all the latest news coming from the Emirates Stadium.
Arsene Wenger has hinted at a possible January exit for Arsenal defender Mathieu Debuchy, who has lost his place in the first team to Hector Bellerin.
“It’s not impossible Debuchy will leave,” the Frenchman revealed ahead of the winter window. “I’m happy for him to stay, but we'll see.”
Meanwhile, Wenger admits he's optimistic over the future of midfielder Jack Wilshere, despite him starting just 10 Premier League matches since March 2014.
"I am an optimist," he said. "I always think: 'Okay, it's true that he hasn't played many games in recent years'. I hope at some stage that will stop because he is young and I hope I'm right."
And finally, The Guardian claim Basel midfielder Mohamed Elneny has passed a medical ahead of his £7million move to the Emirates.
The Egypt international has been targeted by the Gunners following injury to defensive midfielder Francis Coquelin, who isn't due back until next month.
