UPCOMING action-adventure title ARK: Survival Evolved was downloaded an incredible 1 million times following its early access release on the Xbox One last month.
PC users have been experimenting with Studio Wildcard’s dinosaur thriller since last summer, but Xbox One owners were finally able to join in the action via the Xbox Game Preview Program in mid-December.
And the public have made it clear that they can’t wait to get their hands on the completed version, with ARK downloaded more than 1m times across the globe.
The daily Xbox One player count has already zoomed past the PC, with Survivors so far lasting a combined 200,000 real-life days.
And Studio Wildcard have now told fans what to expect over the coming months, with various tweaks plus a brand new creature being introduced to the ARK world.

Co-Founder and Co-Creative Director Jesse Rapczak explained: “There are still at least seven months remaining until ARK’s final release on all platforms.
“During that time you can expect community feedback to be integrated into the Xbox One version of the game with regular updates about every two weeks.
“This will eventually include highly-demanded features like split screen support, gamepad customisation, UI improvements, tweaks to current game modes, balancing improvements and all the new content that is going into the PC version.
The first new creature drops in only a few short weeks. It’s furry and has a human-sized pouch
