Louis van Gaal set to activate clause in contract of Manchester United star
Man United youngster James Wilson could be recalled from his loan spell at Brighton

MANCHESTER UNITED could recall James Wilson from his loan spell at high-flying Championship side Brighton.

The 20-year-old has made an impressive start to his spell at Chris Hughton's Brighton having already scored two goals for the promotion-chasing side.
Many United fans were shocked by under-fire boss Louis van Gaal when he last month.

Many were expecting the forward to be given more opportunities to breakthrough into the first team this season - especially with just Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial being the only recognised attacking options for Van Gaal.
But with Rooney adding to an already long list of injuries at Old Trafford, Sky Sports claim Van Gaal could exercise the recall option placed in the forward's contract which will see him return from his loan spell.
However, Wilson insists enjoying success with Brighton is his priority.

"I'm here for the manager and for the fans, so my full focus is on Brighton," he said.
"It's one of them, I'm here for the season, I think I can be recalled anyway, but if I'm not needed then I can show my worth at Brighton."

Wilson has made just two appearances in all competitions for United this season before loan move.
