Chelsea are ready to go back in for Everton ace John Stones

Chelsea are preparing a £40million January bid for Everton star John Stones.

Chelsea failed with four bids to prise Stones away from Goodison Park in the summer.

And while Manchester United have been linked with a move for the England international, the Blues will try again.

News News Blog Sport understands Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has the support of owner Roman Abramovich over continuing his pursuit of Stones and has sanctioned another offer.

 

Besiktas have confirmed their interest in Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina.

The Turkish club were linked with a move for Ospina in the summer, but he has remained at the Emirates as back up to Petr Cech.

But Besiktas vice-president Ahmet Nur Cebi said: "Him and goalkeepers of his calibre, but just because we want him does not mean he will come.

"We have to agree with his club and take his contract into consideration."

Barcelona star Luis Suarez is on Manchester United's list of transfer targets.

United are expected to sanction a big spending spree next summer.

And French news outlet Buzzsport claim former Liverpool man Suarez is on United's radar along with Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, Neymar, Paul Pogba and Leo Messi.
