Jordan Henderson: Why Jurgen Klopp and players thanked Liverpool fans after West Brom draw
Jordan Henderson says Liverpool needed to thank the fans

JORDAN HENDERSON has explained why Liverpool were keen to express their appreciation to the Anfield faithful after yesterday's 2-2 draw with West Brom.

Henderson put his side in front with a first-half strike, but Liverpool were in danger of losing their second straight Premier League game after the Baggies had rallied to lead 2-1.
The Reds skipper was involved again as his side clawed their way back with an equaliser deep into stoppage time, setting up substitute Divock Origi.

And following the game, boss Jurgen Klopp gathered his players together and walked towards the Kop hand-in-hand in a gesture of thanks.
Henderson told Liverpoolfc.com: “The crowd kept with us. Even when we were getting beat, they kept us going and we managed to get the equalizer.

“I thought we were going to drag ourselves over the line for the winner.
“We’re trying to create that atmosphere here even more so and the fans were brilliant. We’ve got to keep that going and win games here for them."
