Gary Neville: Why James Wilson made the right decision to leave Man Utd and join Brighton
James Wilson has joined Brighton on a season-long loan
GARY NEVILLE has backed James Wilson's decision to leave Manchester United and join Brighton on loan.

The young striker's season-long move to the Championship side was confirmed yesterday after making just two appearances this campaign.
And Neville, who played 602 times for United, believes the move is good for Wilson's development.
He said on Twitter: "People shocked at James Wilson leaving on loan. Why? He hasn't played and is a lad who needs to play all the time at his age. Better for him and for Manchester United.

"A lot of young lads end up aged 22 with only 50 games under their belt through waiting in the wings. Get them playing and learning."
And Wilson himself described his decision to leave as "easy".
"There were a lot of good clubs that came in for me but once Brighton were mentioned, I've been monitoring them, because they've been doing well in the league," the 19-year-old said.

"I've watched a few of the games when I can, so it was an easy decision for me really.
"I asked Jesse Lingard [who was previously on loan at Brighton] for some advice too, and about what it was like here. He told me it's a great club.
"Everyone I've spoken to has said it's a brilliant set-up and a brilliant club, with a great bunch of lads."
