JURGEN KLOPP has conceded that January isn't the best time to do business.
Liverpool's chances of landing Red Star Belgrade youngster Marko Grujic appears to have hit the rocks.
Initially, Red Star had accepted a £5million bid, but the player's father is trying to block a move.
Klopp is targeting several players this window and could raid his old club Borussia Dortmund for signings next month.
But the German boss has raised his concerns about trying to strengthen his squad next month.
"The window in January is not the easiest one," Klopp said.
“Prices are very high. I’m not the biggest friend of January window.”
Liverpool, who lost 3-0 away to Watford last Sunday, will be looking to wipe away memories of that display when they host Premier League table toppers Leicester on Boxing Day (3pm).
