TONY PULIS says he is "not surprised" interest in Saido Berahino has increased.
West Brom striker Berahino, 22, has been trailed by a number of clubs for over a year - since he broke into the England Under-21 side.
Both Chelsea and Tottenham are understood to be interested in the ace.
But Pulis has once again insisted he has no desire to sell his front man.
"I'm not surprised something has come out about Saido. We're not going to be able to stop it from now until the end of January, we'll be talking about the same things," the Albion boss said.
"Saido, his form dropped and dipped because of the situation that occurred. I've had a good chat with him – I get on very well with Saido.
"He's just starting to realise there's a big world out there and you can swallowed by it all. The most important thing is to realise and recognise it's him that's important and he's got be right physically and mentally.
"He's playing in the toughest league in the world. The age he is and at this stage in his career he has to be switched on and he's not switched on like the back-end of last season when he was great for us."
Berahino has scored just three goals for West Brom all season, having first emerged as a Spurs target this time last year.
He had netted eight times by this stage last term and West Brom set about offering him a new contract.
Tottenham tried and failed to land Berahino during the summer as the Baggies held firm on their £25million valuation.
But manager Mauricio Pochettino is understood to be considering another approach in 2016.
Chelsea, meanwhile, are said to be seeking new recruits, even though manager Jose Mourinho kept his transfer cards close to his chest at a press conference today.
Between them, strikers Diego Costa, Loic Remy and Radamel Falcao have scored just three league goals all season.
