Brad Friedel says his former side Tottenham are primed to grab a Champions League spot
TOTTENHAM must grab their opportunity and secure a top-four finish in the Premier League, says former player Brad Friedel.

Spurs sit fifth in the table after .
They are a point behind fourth-place Manchester United and two off Leicester in third.
And Friedel, 44, says his former club is primed to challenge for a Champions League spot.
“I tip Tottenham to get into the top four this season, and that’s not because of my allegiance to them, I really believe in what Mauricio Pochettino is doing there," he told talkSPORT.
“Mauricio Pochettino has done as wonderful job with instilling his philosophy and style of play with this Tottenham team.
“It’s high energy and they’ve got a very fit group of players, and the players Pochettino has kept have bought into his system. They believe in it.
“It’s not an easy system to play in, I can tell you from personal experience that it’s not easy training every day.
“It’s very enjoyable but it’s physically demanding and you have to stay on top of everything, your physical fitness and mentality, but he’s done a very good job and long may it continue.
“I don’t think anyone envisioned the problems Chelsea have had this season, but they’re well off the pace and there’s a great opportunity for Tottenham to get into the top four this season.”

Before yesterday's derby at the Emirates another former player, Jermaine Jenas, said Spurs must take advantage of Chelsea's slump and grab fourth place.
The Blues sit 16th in the table after losing seven of their 12 top-flight games, while .
"The question for Tottenham every year seems to be: can they make the top four? The answer is usually 'no'," Jenas told Radio 5 Live.
"This season, with Manchester United not playing brilliantly and Chelsea well below their usual standards, there is a massive chance for them."
