Ruben Loftus-Cheek has made two Premier League appearances this season |
RUBEN LOFTUS-CHEEK sent Jose Mourinho a message with a stunning solo goal for Chelsea under-21s yesterday.
The Chelsea manager was in attendance as Loftus-Cheek and Bertrand Traore inspired a 4-0 win over Liverpool.
Mourinho may have been banned from attending the Blues' defeat to Stoke on Saturday - which left his side 13 points off the top four - but he was watching as Loftus-Cheek turned on the style.
The midfielder ran from the kick off, left one defender in his wake, another on the floor and the two in the box were unable to stop him before he powered beyond Ryan Fulton.
It was a brilliant run from midfield by Loftus-Cheek, who beat three defenders before slotting through the legs of Fulton. #CFCU21

Traore had given Chelsea the lead in the 41st minute with a header before Loftus-Cheek's strike early in the second half.
Tammy Abraham then scored twice in minute as Chelsea ran riot.
Loftus-Cheek, 19, has made two Premier League appearances this season, starting against Aston Villa in the 2-0 win last month but was replaced at half-time.
He played 77 minutes of the Champions League win over Maccabi Tel Aviv but wasn't even on the bench for Stoke on Saturday.
However, yesterday's goal will be a timely reminder of the England under-21 star's talents.
