'Top class' Championship manager backed for Manchester United job
Steve Bruce should be considered for the Manchester United job sats Richard Keys
STEVE BRUCE should be considered for the Manchester United job, says sports presenter Richard Keys.

The Old Trafford legend is currently riding high in the Championship with Hull after suffering relegation from the Premier League last season.
Bruce seems to have steadied the ship and could return the Tigers to the top flight at the first time of asking if they keep up their current form.

Louis van Gaal has suggested he will retire once his contract is up
Van Gaal is into his second season of a three-year deal with United and is considering retirement and to spend more time with his wife Truus.
“Normally I shall leave after next year, but what is normal in our football world?” he said.

“You never know, so I cannot answer that question, but I promised my wife to go with her to our paradise in Portugal, so it shall be very hard for me to deny that promise."
This has led to speculation as to who will be his successor, with Pep Guardiola, Carlo Ancelotti, and current assistant Ryan Giggs all being put into the mix.

However, BeIN sports presenter Keys believes the former United captain Bruce should not be overlooked for the vacant position.
"Delighted to see Steve Bruce back on top. A good guy and top class operator, why doesn't he ever get a mention when big jobs come up? United," he Tweeted.
