Microsoft will offer users up to £100 for trading in an old PC, 2-in1- hybrid of MacBook
MICROSOFT is offering up to £100 for users who upgrade their old PCs to Windows 10 machines.
 
Microsoft has launched a new promotion called Easy Trade Up.
The new online campaign is designed to encourage people to trade-in their old PCs for new Windows 10 netbooks.
Microsoft will hand over £100 for any new PC purchased with an RRP of £499 or more.
 
It also offers £50 for any PC priced between £349 to £498.99 and £30 cash back for a Windows 10 machine between £249 to £348.99.
Anyone who has bought a new Windows PC between October 6th 2015 and October 27th 2015 is eligible for the upgrade.
Qualifying devices include new Windows notebooks, hybrid 2-in-1 devices, desktops and Microsoft Surface 3s.

Once you have purchased your shiny new Windows 10 computer – customers are required to fill in a Trade-In form with details including your date or purchase, place of purchase, serial number of your new qualifying product, personal details, bank details and proof of purchase.
After you have received confirmation from Microsoft that your new PC qualify for the cash back, you will be required to send your old device to Microsoft within 30 days of your new purchase. 
 
Microsoft debuted the same Easy Trade Up program in the US earlier this week.
But Stateside, the Redmond technology firm is offering a generous $300 cash back (some £195 converted) to anyone who trades in a MacBook for a new Windows 10 PC.
It is offering a smaller $200 cash prize (£130 converted) for those who trade-in a laptop valued $599 or more.
Microsoft has used similar promotions in the past, encouraging users to trade-in iPads against a Surface and PS3 consoles for an Xbox One.

Microsoft is currently offering a free operating system upgrade to customers running Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1.
The promotion has helped drive uptake of Windows 10 and as a result, the new OS has been installed on a staggering 110 million devices within the last 11 weeks.
