Fans who have been waiting for an update to the game's explosive celebrations also got some answers on when they can expect some new goal explosion action.
Vice president of marketing at Psyonix, Jeremy Dunham explained that what can be seen in the new trailer when the ball is put into the back of the net will be with fans in a few updates time.
"The finished, working version of that goal screen effect is still a few updates away — polish, testing, and all that.
"So the effect you see there is still a work-in-progress. It was just too cool to not show it in the trailer, haha."

It's set to be followed by a new Back to the Future pack that launches next week and adds the world-famous DeLorean Time Machine as a playable Battle-Car in Rocket League.
"Truth be told, we used to fantasise and joke about having the DeLorean in our game months before it even came out," Dunham added.
"We were all such huge Back to the Future fans here at Psyonix, that it was one of the few “Holy Grails” we had hoped for besides having a hit game.
"The fact that we’re getting both of those “best-case scenarios” in the same year is an amazing accomplishment for us – they’re things we’ll never forget!"
It will cost £1.99 to pick up and will include the folding jet-wheels just as they appeared in the original motion picture trilogy.
Developers recently gave an update on the possibility of Rocket League on Xbox One.
