Halo 5: Microsoft's 343 talk bringing Master Chief to PC and future of Xbox One
Halo 5's future could include the PC as well as the Xbox One
KEY members of the team behind Halo 5: Guardians for Xbox One have spoken more on the subject of bringing the Master Chief to PC and what we can expect from the Microsoft franchise in the future.

Halo franchise director, Frank O’Connor, has spoken more about the latest game's scope, including whether it will ever make the leap to PC.
It's a hot topic with fans, some who jumped at the chance to try out a new Halo Online title that was exclusive to Russia earlier this year, who would like to see more than just the cross party play promised by Xbox's latest added features.
“You know, Microsoft has made a huge commitment trying sort of… I think normalise the Windows experience across multiple platforms," O’Connor told Gamesradar via Twitch.
"You see the elements of Windows 10 are going to appear in Xbox and Cortana and stuff like that.

"There is a chance that Halo 5 could appear on the PC. Nothing to announce at this point… you know, we developed the game on an Intel platform.
"It wouldn’t be the hardest thing in the world to move it to PC and take advantage of PC stuff.
"But nothing I announce today on this chat.”
Speaking of the future of the Halo franchise, it seemed that is was set for a limited run before Bonnie Ross became head of the newly created 343 Industries back in 2009.

Instead, Ross wanted to make Halo bigger and better and have full control over decisions, something more akin to a big Hollywood film director.
"People felt like, 'Let's get another Halo or two out, and it's the end of the franchise,'" Ross told Bloomberg Business.
“The thing I asked for was: If I take it over, I want to be George Lucas. I want to own everything, and I want to do things differently.”
And having stepped up to the plate, Ross is ready to push the Xbox One, the new-gen console with the first dedicated Halo title of this generation.
“Halo is all about innovation and pushing our technology,” she added.
“We feel like we’re pushing where we need to be, and pushing Halo...
“During game development, you can feel the pulse.
“You can walk in and tell if we’re off or not, and whether morale is up or down, because we all act as one.”
