The apparent purpose of the facility is to act as a “edutainment” complex for all things Pokemon, providing fans with tips on battling, using abilities and building communication skills with each other.
There will be various training programs to undertake, with events such as Charizard’s Battle Colosseum and Gardevoir’s Control Score included to help boost your stats on how to play the game.

There is no known connections between Pokemon Go and the new Gym, although both will contain augmented reality features and push to provide real world Pokemon action for fans.
Pokémon Go recently received a boost from partners Nintendo and The Pokemon Company, who with Google are set to invest in the title's developers, Niantic.
The new Series A funding could be worth as much as $30m if all the right milestones are reached.
Speaking about the deal Tsunekazu Ishihara of The Pokémon Company explained: “Pokemon’s strategic investment in Niantic paves the way for a social mobile experience the world has never seen before.
“The Pokémon Company is committed to partnering with companies like Niantic that share the same spirit of community and innovation.”
