The new Xbox One update will include Backwards Compatibility |
MICROSOFT have revealed when Backwards Compatibility will be released on Xbox One, along with a number of Windows 10 updates.
Xbox 360 games are set to become playable on the tech giant's latest console on on November 12.
Microsoft announced the news today during the Halo 5 Live launch streaming event and means gamers who pre-ordered Fallout 3 will be able to start playing the classic title just days after Fallout 4 is launched.
The Xbox One November update will look to redesign the system's dashboard, and bring changes to several other features with the release of Windows 10 on the platform boosting the overall speed by 50%.
The most recent titles added to the Backwards Compatibility is Burnout Paradise, joining the likes of Mass Effect and Perfect Dark.

The Cortana voice feature is not set to roll out with the other features planned for the November update and instead be released in 2016.
Microsoft's Mike Ybarra covered more on the subject of the November update earlier this year, telling fans: "The New Xbox One Experience will be powered by Windows 10, elevating the gaming experience on Xbox One.
"Integrating the speed of Windows 10, the New Xbox One Experience will get you to popular gaming features up to 50 percent faster.
"Instantly start a party, see what your friends are playing, and get updates to your recently played games from Home with no wait time. We’ll also be delivering your most requested feature – Xbox One Backward Compatibility."
