The alleged PS4 survey |
A
PS4 survey has been posted online, revealing what seems to be a rundown of new features Sony would like to find out if anyone would like to be part of the console's new big firmware package.
The PS4 has seen new options added to it slowly since its release back in 2013, with Shareplay proven to be one of the biggest. However, it appears the tech giants have decided to include at least one crowd-pleasing feature in Update 4.0.The private survey was reportedly sent out, with owners asked to supply an answer to one of the suggestions and to also reveal when they thought Update 4.0 should be released. It makes for good reading as it show the company have been listening to fan feedback, with many commenting on the NeoGAF forums that they'd like to see all of them included. There are 14 choices in total, including:Friend Notifications, PlayStation 1 and PlayStation 2 playback, Folders, Appear Offline Mode, Hide Library Items, Delete Item From Library, Filtering Options, Download Avatars, Custom Backgrounds, Store Wish List, Max Increase in Party Chat, Change PSN ID, None of These. It would appear that changing a PSN ID and custom backgrounds are some of the most popular among PS4 fans, who have been given a time frame spanning the end of 2015, till 2017 to see the update roll out.Guerrilla Games, the developers behind one of the PS4's most hotly anticipated exclusive titles, has spoken more on Horizon: Zero Dawn's rich story.“I think you can expect that this is an incredibly rich story. It’s always interesting, that open world games ordinarily fall in one of two camps," Senior producer Mark Norris told DualShockers."We’ve got these really strong narrative-driven, character-driven open world games like The Witcher 3, or an Assassin’s Creed, or even a Watch_Dogs, where there’s a strong central character, and a bunch of story that revolves around the character."And then you’ve got these other open world games, on the other side of the spectrum, previous to Fallout 4, I would have said a Fallout 3 or a Skyrim, where the story is really the story of the world, and it’s less the story of this main character."Our game, actually, it has both. The main story revolves around Aloy. She’s one of the reasons why we’re a single player only game. We want to tell the story of Aloy. But we also want to tell the story of the machines, the story of the world, the story of these tribes, and you’ll get those inside of quests, in open world activities, collectibles and other things.”
