MICROSOFT has confirmed that the Xbox Live services on Xbox One and Xbox 360 are down for many fans.
Microsoft have confirmd that users are having difficulty logging into core services, leaving many unable to play games or use key features since around 2pm, UK time.
An Xbox statement on the latest outage reads: "Hey Xbox members, we know you’re having issues signing in to Xbox Live, and our best engineers are working to fix the issue as quickly as possible.
"Thanks for being patient while we get everything back to normal! We’ll post an update as soon as we know more."
It is currently unclear what is causing the latest outage or how long it could last.
No other issues are being reported using apps or multiplayer functions and many fans who were already logged in are not being affected.
One user wrote: Wanted to play Destiny but can't get past the sign in page, getting a bunch of error messages whenever I try."
Following the services last major outage, Xbox Live gamers were calling for their money back after after having to suffer HOURS without connection.

Gamers have got accustomed to online services going down with fans suffering hours without Xbox services back in August.
Since the infamous Lizard Squad attack over the festive period, Xbox and PlayStation gamers have continued to face regular outages.
