JAMES BOND will NOT be black when Daniel Craig steps down, says Pierce Brosnan after a racism row ignited around Idris Elba's suitability for the role.

He also dismissed any calls for a woman to step into the role.
“A female James Bond, no, I think it has to be male. James Bond is a guy, he’s all male. His name is James, his name is James Bond,” Brosnan insisted.

“For me, Idris Elba is a bit too rough to play the part. It’s not a color issue. I think he is probably a bit too ‘street’ for Bond. Is it a question of being suave? Yeah.”
