'I love everyone thinking I have a MASSIVE PENIS boasts Idris Elba about THOSE pictures
Idris Elba caused a sensation with this picture
IDRIS ELBA enjoyed the furore after he was spotted with an enormous trouser bulge while the James Bond favourite was shooting new film A Hundred Streets with Gemma Arterton.

"For a minute, the rumour was great," Elba admits.
"I saw my Twitter account rise. I was like, 'What is this popularity? Oh, oh, I see, it’s ’cause they think I have a massive penis.'

"But we all had fun with it. I certainly did."

So what is he saying? That, erm, Little Idris is not so massive?

Ever a class act, he refuses to be boastful, either way.

"What am I gonna say? I'm not gonna go out there and pretend that I have a 12-foot d**k.  It’s just not how I was raised, you know what I mean?" he told Maxim magazine.

Elba revealed that his impressive bulge was actually a microphone wire. The inflammatory pictures were from the set of A Hundred Streets, his new film with Gemma Arterton.

Arterton also recently revealed that shooting sex scenes with her hunky co-star wasn't actually a very erotic experience. Millions of women would probably love the chance to prove her wrong.

The Brit beauty also opened up about her shame at being exploited in sex scenes when she was younger and too timid to question her director.
Idris Elba has also been in the headlines again recently, after David Oyelowo become the first black actor to play James Bond.

The Selma star will voice OO7 in the audiobook version of Anthony Horowitz's latest Bond adventure, Trigger Mortis. Oyelowo voiced his pride in the role. but is vocal in his support of Elba for the big screen role.

“A titan on screen, he has all the qualities that you’d want in a James Bond," Oyelowo said of his fellow actor.

Of course, that role is still wide open with Henry Cavill and Damian Lewis both hotly tipped to replace Daniel Craig when he leaves Her Majesty's Secret Service.

Elba, as always, refuses to be drawn on the subject.

"If I were the Bond producers and everyone was pointing me towards one actor, what's the surprise in that?" he says.

"Honestly, it's one of those things that if it should happened, it would be a self-fulfilling prophecy.

It would be the will of a nation," he smiled.

Whatever he may have in his trousers, the nation clearly remains shaken and stirred by the many endowments of Mr Elba.
