Watford boss backs Pep Guardiola to dominate the Premier League at Manchester City
Watford boss Quique Flores reckons Pep Guardiola will succeed at Manchester City

The Spaniard is leaving Bayern Munich in the summer to join Manchester City and his countrymen Flores, who was a rival to Guardiola while he was at Barcelona, believes he can continue his success.
The pair met at the end of last year at a function and Flores insists he did not have to sell English football to his friend as his happy demeanour gave the game away.
“Can Pep dominant here as well? For sure,” he said.
“The most important thing for Pep is to come here and translate his method and ideas for a completely different league.

“But he will be amazing in the Premier League.
“The league is very receptive for good coaches, if you come with a good method and ambition this league adapts very quickly.
“Guardiola knows what is happening in this country and is interested in the Premier League.
Flores has spoken openly of his love of English football and has enjoyed an outstanding start to life in England with Watford.

“At our meeting, Pep told me ‘I can feel you enjoy it’ and wanted to be in the same league,” he said.
“I know what he is thinking, he is very clear.
“When you are at this level, we want to train in these leagues. You don’t need to recommend.
“Pep follows everything. He loves the Premier League and wants to spend a long time here.”
