CHELSEA have given Manuel Pellegrini "a very attractive offer" to become their new manager.

News News Blog Sport understands the Blues are keen to land Pellegrini, who will leave Manchester City at the end of the season.
And Chilean newspaper El Mercurio claim the Premier League champions have already held discussions with the 62-year-old.
 
"Pellegrini is delighted with the idea of staying in the Premier League," a source close to the boss said.
"Chelsea is one of the clubs he has been talking to, and they’ve shown a very attractive offer."

Pellegrini is stepping down as City boss at the end of the season to make room for Pep Guardiola, who has agreed a three-year contract at the Etihad.
Former Barcelona head coach Guardiola will step down from his post at Bayern Munich at the end of the season.
He was on Chelsea's list of potential recruits to replace Guus Hiddink at the end of the season, along with Antonio Conte and Diego Simeone.
