Manchester United will reportedly pay £45million to sign Benfica's Renato Sanchez in the summer, claims agent Jorge Mendes.
The world-renowned 'super agent' who also represents Cristiano Ronaldo, told Portuguese newspaper O Jogo the deal was in place.
The offer is reportedly made up of £30m plus a further £15m in bonuses and set to be finalised in the summer.
Jose Mourinho is 'very close' to agreeing a deal to become United's next manager, according to reports.
Italian journalist Alessandro Alciato broke the news on Twitter, writing: "A deal between United and Mourinho is very close.”
Mourinho is considered as the favourite to replace Van Gaal, whose contract at Old Trafford expires in 2017.
Jesse Lingard has praised fellow academy graduate Cameron Borthwick-Jackson after breaking into the United first team.
Cameron's a very composed player," Lingard said. "He's come into the first-team fold, he's played a few games and now he's getting that experience that he needs.
"He's slotted right in and done very well. He has come on leaps and bounds from when I knew him in the Under-18s."
