NEWS NEWS BLOG SPORT brings you the latest news and gossip coming out of White Hart Lane.
Mauricio Pochettino wouldn't be tempted to leave Tottenham for Manchester United, claims Harry Redknapp.
Louis van Gaal has come under mounting pressure at United this term, and Pochettino has been targeted as a possible replacement for the beleaguered Dutchman along with Jose Mourinho and Diego Simeone.
But Redknapp thinks Pochettino will stay at Spurs for the foreseeable.
"I wouldn’t think he would want to leave,” Redknapp told talkSPORT.
“Spurs are a good club, they have a fantastic training ground. It’s one of the big clubs in the country so I don’t think he’d want to be leaving.”
Dele Alli can be for Spurs what Paul Pogba has been for Juventus.
Alli penned a new deal with the north London outfit, which will see him stay at the club until 2021.
The 19-year-old has enjoyed a fine breakthrough season at White Hart Lane and Pochettino has spoken of Alli in the same breath as Pogba.
"We need to help him improve in different positions, as a versatile player like Pogba has a big, big value to a team. Today, football is about being versatile,” Pochettino said.
Tottenham are increasingly optimistic of tying Mousa Dembele down to a new deal, according to reports.
The Belgium international has just 18 months left to run on his present Spurs deal.
The Daily Mail claim Dembele is aware of the club's desire to offer him a contract extension.
And the report suggests the 28-year-old is keen to stay at the club.
