Manchester City weighing up shock move for Chelsea star
Manchester city are reportedly keeping tabs on Branislav Ivanovic

The Serbian has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge in recent weeks with his contract set to expire in the summer.
Ivanovic was one of several players heavily criticised during Jose Mourinho’s final months in charge of the Blues for his consistent below par performances.
And while reports from The Times suggest Ivanovic has agreed a new one-year contract extension with the Blues, claims elsewhere suggest this isn’t the case.

According to the Daily Mail, the Serbian wants a two year deal with the club but Chelsea’s strict policy for players over 30 means they will only offer one year deals.
Ongoing negotiations between club and player has attracted interest from several clubs.
Inter Milan, AC Milan, Zenit St Petersburg, and City are all said to be keen on acquiring his services.

The report claims Manuel Pellegrini’s side have asked to be kept informed of developments over Ivanovic’s contract.
Ivanovic has made 21 appearances in all competitions for the Blues this campaign with his only goal coming in Chelsea’s 3-1 win over Sunderland last month.
