The fallen champs are searching for a permanent successor to Jose Mourinho.
Pochettino's work at Spurs, who have taken Chelsea's place in the top four, has not gone unnoticed.
But the Argentinian - 18 months into a five-year deal - made it clear he wasn't paying much attention to the speculation.
He said: "I don't mind. The media is all about rumours but I don't care about that.
“It's the same with any rumours about players, there's a lot of names in the media now.

“My focus is here, to try for success at Tottenham and to work hard. I always work for the present and the future.
“I'm very happy here. We've created after 18 months a very good group, with a strong basis for success in the future and I'm very happy.
“My job is to be focused, not to hear rumours. The most important thing is that I'm focused on my job."
Midfielder Mousa Dembele has signed a new deal, committing himself to 2019 after forcing his way back into the team.
Pochettino said: “It's true he's improved a lot from last season, from my point of view.

“We are very happy in the way he's improved his quality, his mentality, and for that the club is very happy he's signed his new contract."
One man who failed to do that is Andros Townsend, who has been sold to Newcastle for £12million.
Pochettino said: "I don't want to speak about business, it was important for him to find the club that gave him the possibility to play consistently in the Premier League.
"We kept a very good relationship and always it was about the player needing to play. We had other players and he wasn't my first choice and it is normal that players always want to play.

"The club believes that it was a good deal and we wish him all the best at his new club."
