NEWCASTLE are in talks with Valencia over a loan move for Lucas Orban.
The 26-year-old defender joined the Spanish club in 2014 but has made only 12 appearances in all competitions this term.
He has not featured heavily in the plans of new boss Gary Neville and is believed to be keen on a January exit.

The Daily Mail claim Newcastle are in talks and are considering a loan move for the Argentina international.
And the deal could include a clause to make the move permanent if the full-back impresses during his time at St James' Park.
Orban began his career with River Plate and has two caps for Argentina, recently representing his country in a 2-0 win over El Salvador in March last year.
The defender would team-up with fellow countryman and club captain Fabricio Coloccini should he complete a move before deadline day on Monday.
