NATHANIEL CLYNE is a doubt for Liverpool's League Cup semi-final second leg at home to Stoke.

 

Jurgen Klopp dealt another injury setback ahead of Stoke clash

 

The England right-back missed training with a knock on his knee and, if he cannot recover in time, Jon Flanagan is set for his first start since May 2014 after two knee operations.

Centre-back Dejan Lovren has returned to training but is not yet ready to start, while on-loan Steven Caulker is ineligible.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is definitely without Philippe Coutinho, Martin Skrtel and Daniel Sturridge (all hamstring) and Divock Origi, Joe Gomez and Danny Ings (all knee).
