SAM ALLARDYCE expects his second signing of the January transfer window to be confirmed this week.

Sunderland boss to hand Premier League return to striker with second January signing
N'Doye played under one of Allardyce's best friends in football, Steve Bruce, at Hull City

The Sunderland manager has already picked up centre-back Jan Kirchhoff from Bayern Munich and now the 61-year-old is closing in on a loan deal for former Hull City striker Dame N’Doye.
The Senegalese forward signed for Turkish side Trabzonspor in August just six months after moving to Hull City for £3m.
N’Doye played 15 games in the Premier League under Allardyce’s great friend Steve Bruce at Hull scoring five goals but couldn’t prevent the side being relegated from the Premier League.

But since a £2.2million move to Turkey in the summer he appears to have lost his goal-scoring mojo with just one goal in his 14 appearances this season.
And now Allardyce is hoping to coax a new lease of life into the striker as he comes back to the north of England.
When asked about N’Doye after Sunderland’s FA Cup defeat to Arsenal, Allardyce replied: “We’ll have somebody coming this week.”

Should N’Doye arrive as expected, he provide competition up front for top-scorer Jermain Defoe and Steven Fletcher as Sunderland seek to drag themselves out of the relegation zone.
However, the Black Cats are currently among the favourites to go down this year sitting 19th in the table and four points from safety.
