CHELSEA are not giving up their pursuit of Jamie Vardy.
The England international has been in sensational form for the Foxes this season, having scored 16 goals in all competitions.
Guus Hiddink is in need of a new striker to help out Diego Costa up front.
Alexandre Pato has reportedly completed his medical ahead of his £12m move to Stamford Bridge, but Chelsea are still trying to land Leicester's hitman.
And the Mirror claim the Blues are hoping to use Loic Remy as part of a swap deal.
The Frenchman has been deemed surplus to requirements in west London, that has seen several clubs linked with a move.
Newcastle and Crystal Palace both expressed interest, but Leicester have upped theirs by submitting a £7.6m bid, according to the Mirror.
The Foxes are reluctant to depart with their star striker however, but Chelsea will attempt to use Remy as bait to secure the 29-year-old.
Remy has scored three goals in 16 appearances this season and is contracted with the Blues until the summer of 2018.
Vardy's contract at the King Power Stadium also expires in 2018.
