PEP GUARDIOLA wants Ander Herrera to join him at Manchester City, according to shock reports from Spain.
The former Barcelona manager is expected to take over from Manuel Pellegrini at City in the summer.
And he has reportedly made Manchester United midfielder Herrera one of his priority signings.
Guardiola confirmed he will leave Bayern Munich when his contract is up in the summer but has yet to say where he's heading.
Chelsea and Manchester United have also been linked with him, while BBC pundit Trevor Sinclair revealed Arsenal were also in the running with Arsene Wenger ready to step upstairs.
However Don Balon in Spain report that Guardiola is already making plans for life at City and wants Herrera to spice up the midfield at the Etihad.
Herrera has struggled for a regular starting place under Louis van Gaal at United and has already been linked with a move away.
He joined from Atheltic Bilbao in 2014 for £25million, but has made just eight Premier League starts this term.
