WEST BROM chairman Jeremy Peace will have the final say on whether or not to sell Saido Berhaino, manager Tony Pulis has confirmed.
Berahino, 22, is reportedly wanted by both Tottenham and Newcastle United.
Pulis appears resigned to losing the striker, who has scored just four goals all season and who missed last night's FA Cup clash against Bristol City with illness.
It is claimed the Baggies want around £23million for their former England U21 ace, with Newcastle reportedly offering £18m and Spurs £20m plus a player.
But Pulis says the decision to sell rests with the chairman, who put up a fight to keep academy product Berahino last summer.
“The chairman will decide whether Saido goes or stays," Pulis said.
"The chairman will make decisions, financially.
“As much as it’s the player, it’s the financial deal and like I say, we’ll leave it with Jeremy to sort it.
"He was playing (against Bristol City). If he hadn’t been ill, he’d have been playing.”
Spurs have long sought to sign Berahino and had a bid for the player rejected by Albion last summer.
They have reportedly offered £20m plus winger Andros Townsend this month.
Berahino hit fine form alongside Spurs striker Harry Kane during qualifying with England for last summer's U21 European Championships.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is seeking a long-term strike partner for Kane at White Hart Lane, while Newcastle manager Steve McClaren has been granted the funds to spend big this January to haul the Magpies away from the relegation zone.
