Swans interim manager Alan Curtis is reportedly keen to add to his squad in their bid to avoid relegation.
The Welsh club sit 17th in the Premier League table, just two points ahead of fellow strugglers Newcastle.

It has emerged that - and that a £10m bid would be enough to prise him away from the Liberty Stadium.
And now Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport claim Swansea are primed to offer De Jong a move back to England.
Former Manchester City midfielder De Jong, 31, is free to leave the San Siro this winter after making just six appearance for top-three chasers Milan.

He was sent off in his most recent outing - a 1-1 draw against Verona in December - and manager Sinisa Mihajlovic is reportedly seeking new recruits in defensive midfield.
Leicester have also been linked with Netherlands international De Jong, who won the Premier League with Manchester City back in 2012.
As for Shelvey, it is not known if De Jong would act as a direct replacement for the 23-year-old if a deal with Milan went through - although Newcastle are said to be hopeful of securing the England midfielder before February's transfer deadline.
