MARK HUGHES has admitted he doesn't mind rumours suggesting he could be the next Manchester United boss.

Louis van Gaal has been under intense pressure this term, and his side are winless in their past eight games in all competitions.
Reports have suggested that Hughes could replace Van Gaal if the Dutchman gets sacked, although former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is widely fancied to take over the reins at Old Trafford.
Hughes, who played for United in the 1990s, has rebuilt his managerial career at Stoke after tough spells at Manchester City, Fulham and QPR.
When asked what it is like being linked to the United post, Hughes said: "There's a lot of speculation. That goes with the territory.
"It's probably better to be talked up than talked down. I've had both, and I know which I prefer.
"It is what it is. It's speculation. Nothing more, nothing less."
