JONNY EVANS scored a last-minute winner for the Baggies to ensure Stoke started 2016 miserably.

West Brom 2 - Stoke 1: Evans nets injury-time winner to secure three points for Baggies
West Brom recorded a 2-1 victory over Stoke at The Hawthorns

A goal-mouth scramble deep into injury time fell to the former Manchester United defender who tapped in from close-range.
Stephane Sessegnon had put the Baggies in front on the hour mark from 12-yards out following some good work from Darren Fletcher.

But Jonathan Walters produced a header from close range with ten minutes remaining before Geoff Cameron received a red card for violent conduct moments later.
Mark Hughes' 10-man side looked to be heading home with a point, before it all turned sour in the final minutes.

Cameron was judged to have raised his hands towards Claudio Yacob that left Lee Mason no choice but to send him for an early shower.
Stoke's desperate attempts to hold on for a point were brutally ended by Evans in the 93rd minute.
The result sees Stoke remain in 10th place, while West Brom move up to 12th.
