The Portugal international has been linked with a return to Old Trafford in recent months and it's also understood PSG are keen on acquiring his services.
And according to The Telegraph, Ronaldo will make himself available in the summer with Real willing to listen to offers.
“Out of Bale and Ronaldo, Ronaldo is the player expected to leave the club. Bale is still seen as the future, whereas Ronaldo’s best years may now be behind him," a source told The Telegraph.
"PSG are desperate to sign him and would be favourites at the moment, but United will no doubt try.”
The revelation comes during a week of change for the Spanish club after Rafa Benitez was replaced by Zinedine Zidane - Madrid's twelfth managerial switch in as many years.
It's been claimed Ronaldo had a poor relationship with Benitez as he attempted to bring a team ethos to the squad, marginalising the star player.
However, it is said his departure will not influence Ronaldo's decision and will not keep him at the club beyond the summer.
And Real could already have lined up his long-term replacement, with Zidane previously admitting his admiration for Chelsea winger Eden Hazard.
"After Messi and Ronaldo, Hazard is my favourite player - it is spectacular to see him play," he said.
"Do I see him going to Real Madrid? I love the player, that's all I will say
