Manchester United handed massive boost as Chelsea outcast turns down Real Madrid
Manchester United fans are desperate to see Mourinho come to Old Trafford

The 52-year-old was dismissed from the Chelsea job shortly before Christmas after a disastrous start to the champions' title defence.
And now Diario Sport are reporting that the Portuguese manager has told Madrid president Florentino Perez he will not be making a return to the Bernabeu.
Mourinho led the Spanish giants to the 2011-12 La Liga title, but left the club in 2013 after a season fraught with problems, including public spats with Iker Casillas, Sergio Ramos and Cristiano Ronaldo.

However, Madrid would welcome back the self-styled 'Special One' as a replacement for Rafael Benitez now he is available.
But Mourinho has already ruled out any return to Madrid, citing family reasons and a desire to stay in London.

The revelation opens the door further for Manchester United, who have already been repeatedly linked with a move for the unemployed boss as Louis van Gaal continues to struggle at Old Trafford.
Mourinho has previously publicly stated his desire to manage the Red Devils, and was disappointed when the club opted for David Moyes to replace Sir Alex Ferguson.
