MANCHESTER CITY's new signing Anthony Caceres is likely to go straight out on loan for the rest of the season.
He will spend some time initially at City’s training complex but Manuel Pellegrini is not planning to include him in his first team plans this season and hinted he could go to one of City’s sister clubs, either New York City or Melbourne City.
He said: “He’s a player that will come here but will probably go on loan to another part [of the City group]. He’s not part of this squad at this moment. It’s something the club do – they are always thinking about the future.”
Mariners head coach Tony Walmsley said: "When I brought Caceres to the Mariners his potential was obvious. The move demonstrates how far he has progressed. We need to celebrate when players are sold to bigger clubs."
