NEWS NEWS BLOG SPORT brings you all the latest transfer news coming from the Premier League.
Arsenal have been handed a huge boost in their pursuit of Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette, who has today admitted he is ready for a move to England.
“Yes, I am thinking about it and the Premier League is very attractive for a player,” said the France international, who has a price tag of £25million.
“But I know that to go there I have to do well this season. So I am very concentrated on doing well and maybe, after that, I will go there.”
Meanwhile, the Daily Mirror claim Brazilian club Corinthians are trying to tempt Chelsea to sign striker Alexandre Pato this month.
Blues boss Guus Hiddink has already suggested that he is in the market for another forward to provide cover for fellow frontmen Diego Costa and Loic Remy.
Corinthians are looking to secure at least £11m for the 26-year-old, but the Premier League champions are reportedly only interested in a loan deal.
And finally, Liverpool and Manchester United are reportedly set to go head-to-head for Ajax winger Anwar El Ghazi before the January window closes.
That is according to Italian outlet Tuttosport, who claim the Dutch club are looking for around £8m for the highly-rated 20-year-old.
The Netherlands international, who has eight goals to his name in the Eredivisie this season, has three-and-a-half years remaining on his current deal.
