Confirmed: Manchester City agree deal for first January signing
Manchester City have agreed a deal with the Central Coast Mariners for Caceres

The Mariners confirmed the 23-year-old midfielder was bound for the Premier League after agreeing terms with City.
Caceres has made 62 appearances for the A-League club since his debut in 2012 and scored three times.
A statement on the club's website read: "The Central Coast Mariners can today confirm that the club has agreed to terms with English Premier League Club Manchester City for the transfer of 23-year-old midfielder Anthony Caceres that will take immediate effect."

The move for Caceres is City's first involvement in this January transfer window and Manuel Pellegrini is yet to confirm if they'll be in the market for anymore signings.
Mariners head coach Tony Walmsley spoke highly of Caceres, despite the midfielder's move away from Australia.
“We need to celebrate when players at the Central Coast Mariners are sold to bigger Clubs. It's our charter. It's our intent,” said Walmsley.

“When I brought Anthony Caceres to the Mariners his potential was obvious.
“This move demonstrates how far Anthony has progressed and symbolises how giving youth a chance works for both the Central Coast Mariners and young aspirational footballers."
The Manchester Evening News report that Caceres could soon find himself leave the Etihad on a loan deal.
