COVENTRY manager Tony Mowbray has confirmed there is 'plenty' of interest in midfielder James Maddison.
Premier League trio Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool have all been linked with a move for the Coventry academy product this month.
Maddison has been in impressive form for the Sky Blues this term, scoring two goals and assisting three as his side sit fifth in the table.
And when asked about the interest surrounding Maddison, Mowbray said: “No bids, plenty of enquiries.”
The 19-year-old has been likened to Spurs midfielder Dele Alli, who arrived at White Hart Lane last summer for £5m from then-League One club MK Dons.
But Mowbray is keen to keep hold of the youngster this month and has told Coventry's board that he needs to keep his best players to achieve promotion to the Championship.
Last week he said: “My discussion with the owner has always been that we’re trying to get out of the league; let’s not cut ourselves off at the knees by selling our best players.”
