NEWS NEWS BLOG SPORT brings you all the latest transfer news coming from Old Trafford.
Manchester United are reportedly lining up an £18.5million move for Lille winger Sofiane Boufal, who has been dubbed the 'new Eden Hazard'.
That is according to Spanish website Fichajes, who claim Arsenal and Liverpool are also prepared to make bids for the 22-year-old in January.
The uncapped Moroccan has been in fine form for Lille, bagging five goals and assisting one in his first season at the Ligue 1 club.
Meanwhile, The Sun report that Louis van Gaal is willing to send Red Devils midfielder Nick Powell out on loan for the remainder of the season.
Preston are thought to be in pole position to sign the 21-year-old on a temporary deal, but face competition from five other Championship clubs.
Powell, who is out of contract in the summer, has made just two appearances under Van Gaal after recovering from a serious hamstring injury.
And finally, United have been dealt a huge blow in their pursuit of Lazio winger Felipe Anderson, who has been linked with a £35m move to Old Trafford.
But Sky Sport Italia suggest Watford's interest in team-mate Keita Balde Diao has cast doubt over United's chances of signing Anderson as Lazio are not prepared to lose both players.
Van Gaal has made no secret of his desire to sign a creative wide man in January and has seemingly been impressed with the Brazilian's five goals and three assists this term.
