LOUIS VAN GAAL has dismissed the possibility of David De Gea leaving Manchester United for Real Madrid this month.
Madrid are to be placed under a transfer embargo - although they have appealed the charges - and reports today suggested they were set for a spending spree.
De Gea was mentioned, along with a host of Premier League stars, following his collapsed transfer in the summer.
But Van Gaal insists he won't be moving on.
The United boss said: “I don’t know, because I don’t think that kind of thing plays in the mind of David De Gea. I have never thought that.
“Now I am seeing a De Gea who is enjoying to stay here at Manchester United and play good games.”
De Gea signed a new deal at the club following the break down of his move to Madrid in the summer.
